You will be asked to sign a waiver acknowledging that you agree to pay any difference between our fees and what your medical insurance reimburses, in addition to any deductibles, copays, or coinsurance.
As a courtesy, we will submit your medical claim to your insurance provider one time (this does not apply to Vision Care Plans).
Brownwood Family Eyecare (DrHLIS.com) has discontinued unsustainable contracts with the following insurers, who declined to renegotiate terms despite the health professional shortage and medically underserved designation of Brown County, Texas:

• BLUE CROSS BLUE SHIELD
We do not accept or file claims for any commercial Vision Care Plans, including Vision Service Plan (VSP), EyeMed, Superior Vision Plan, Spectera, Davis Vision, and others.
If you are unable to locate an in-network eye care provider in the rural area of Brown County, please contact your insurance company for assistance.
